Unlock Transformation

Belief is more than a passing thought; it’s a powerful force that influences our health, emotional well-being, and reality. While thoughts can change from moment to moment, beliefs are deeply held convictions in our conscious and subconscious minds. Beliefs hold emotional energy and can lead to the creation of things we don’t want when they are limiting or negative. Understanding belief structure is essential for transforming our lives and achieving our highest potential.
What Do You Believe?
When was the last time you paused and examined your beliefs? What do you believe to be true? If you want to improve some aspect of your life, examining your beliefs about what you want to change or transform is an excellent place to start.
What you think, you become.
What you feel, you attract.
What you imagine, you create. /Buddha/
Personal Journey
I have numerous examples of how beliefs have influenced me and my life. My awareness of my beliefs deepened when I completed the Theta Healing® workshop training in 2004. At that time, I couldn’t fully comprehend everything being taught, but I gained a profound understanding of the power of our beliefs on our body, mind, and spirit. I started listing my beliefs in various areas: money, health, healing, happiness, relationships, and success. To this day, I believe I am free, healthy, joyful, and abundant. I also tell myself that I heal quickly.
Through years of Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET) work with my chiropractor, Dr. Dennis Rahtigan, I have uncovered many subconscious beliefs on all levels: core, genetic (ancestry), history, and soul. I have done much work to clear and heal myself to new health and optimal well-being levels – and it continues. We can achieve greater well-being when we heal and transform limiting beliefs.
In 2022, I became certified as a Crystalline Soul Healing® practitioner, which granted me deeper wisdom about beliefs and how they can hinder what is ultimately for our best and highest good. CSH is such a powerful healing modality. It can clear limiting belief patterns and shift so much energy, even in just one session.
Along my journey, I discovered Beca Lewis and her books and courses, such as Imagination Mastery and Living in Grace. I learned the power of focusing on positive qualities and using quality words to attract what I want. My favorite way to work with beliefs is to create my list of limitless beliefs. As I mentioned in previous posts, mindset and frequency are everything. You will soar by raising your frequency, identifying limiting beliefs, and shifting them into positive ones. This is my magical way to reach my highest potential. I invite you to give it a try!
One of my lists reads something like this:
I am free.
I am limitless.
I am divine.
I am powerful.
I am abundant.
I am grateful.
I am bold.
I am creative.
I am innovative.
I am grateful.
The Impact of Beliefs on Our Lives
Beliefs are not just mental constructs; they are energetic imprints that hold a frequency of vibration infused with emotion. For instance, the belief “I am not worthy” can create a deep, energetic imprint with a low vibration. Over time, this negative energy permeates the body, mind, and spirit, manifesting in various forms of self-sabotage. It conditions our operating program, attracting unhealthy relationships, unsatisfying jobs, and situations that do not benefit us. This cycle becomes more challenging to break the longer it persists.
Limiting beliefs act as invisible barriers that block the manifestation of our desires and aspirations. These deeply ingrained convictions, often rooted in past experiences, cultural conditioning, or negative self-perceptions, operate below the level of conscious awareness and influence our thoughts, emotions, and actions. When we hold limiting beliefs, such as “I am not worthy” or “I am not capable,” they create a vibrational frequency that aligns with lack and scarcity. This frequency, in turn, attracts experiences and circumstances that reinforce these negative beliefs, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. The power of manifestation lies in aligning our thoughts, emotions, and beliefs with the reality we wish to create. However, limiting beliefs disrupt this alignment, making it challenging to attract positive outcomes and achieve our goals. By identifying and transforming these limiting beliefs into empowering ones, we can remove these energetic blockages, elevate our vibrational frequency, and open ourselves to the abundance and opportunities the universe offers.
The Science of Belief: Insights from Dr. Bruce Lipton
In his groundbreaking book The Biology of Belief, published in 2015, Dr. Bruce Lipton explores how our perceptions and beliefs directly influence our biology and health. His research into cell biology and epigenetics reveals that our environment and, importantly, our perceptions of that environment can turn genes on or off, effectively altering our genetic activity. This concept challenges the traditional view that our DNA solely dictates our fate. Instead, Lipton posits that we can change our physical reality by changing our beliefs.
Like much of Deepak Chopra’s work, Lipton emphasizes the power of the mind in affecting physical health. Positive beliefs can lead to healthier outcomes by altering the biochemical signals that influence cellular function. This mind-body connection highlights the profound impact of our beliefs on our overall well-being.
The Role of the Morphogenetic Field: Insights from Rupert Sheldrake
The morphogenetic field, a concept popularized by biologist Rupert Sheldrake, holds and stores all our feelings and emotions. This field influences not just our individual beliefs but also collective beliefs shared by society. For example, ancestral beliefs about money being evil can be passed down through generations, affecting our financial abundance.
Maintaining a high frequency allows us to tap into the morphogenetic field and harness its infinite potential. All works of genius, like those of Mozart, emerge from this field, demonstrating the profound interplay between belief, frequency, and creativity.
Rupert Sheldrake and his research have been one of my favorite discoveries! I thank my higher self for leading me to him. A litany of synchronicities led me to all of these resources!
The Work of Louise Hay
In her seminal book Heal Your Body, Louise Hay explores the profound connection between mind and body, emphasizing that our thoughts and emotions significantly influence physical health. She provides a comprehensive list of ailments alongside their probable mental causes and suggests positive affirmations to counteract these negative beliefs. For example, she links recurring back pain to feelings of lack of support and recommends the affirmation “I know that life always supports me” to reframe this belief. By addressing underlying emotional issues through affirmations and positive thinking, Hay advocates for a holistic approach to health, empowering individuals to transform their physical and emotional well-being. I keep her book in my Kindle library for quick reference.
Levels of Belief: Core, Genetic, History, and Soul
Exploring the different levels at which beliefs operate is essential in understanding the anatomy of belief. Many other sources and terms could be used here, but I will use these since it was my early training. According to Vianna Stibal, the founder of Theta Healing®, there are four levels of belief:
- Core Beliefs: These are formed from childhood to adulthood and are influenced by our immediate environment and experiences.
- Genetic Beliefs: These are encoded in our DNA, passed down from previous generations, and can influence physical and mental health.
- History Beliefs: These are linked to our past lives or ancestral experiences and can impact our current life circumstances.
- Soul Beliefs: Deep-seated beliefs affect our spiritual essence and connection to the divine.
By working with these four levels, we can overcome physical illnesses, mental blockages, and emotional barriers, enabling us to create the life we desire.
You become what you believe.
Transforming Limiting Beliefs
We must transform limiting beliefs to thrive and enjoy a life of abundance and joy. This process involves bringing awareness to the shadow frequencies of our beliefs and replacing negative programs with positive ones. Here are some steps to achieve this transformation:
- Awareness: Recognize and acknowledge the limiting beliefs that are influencing your life.
- Challenge: Question the validity of these beliefs and seek evidence that contradicts them.
- Positive Affirmations: Replace limiting beliefs with positive affirmations encouraging growth and potential. Example: I am poor. Replace with: I am grateful and abundant.
- Mindfulness and Meditation: Engage in practices that elevate your frequency and align you with higher vibrational states.
- Healing Practices: Consider techniques and holistic approaches and modalities to address and release emotional stress stored in the body.
Healing Practices to Transform Beliefs
Expanding on the various healing practices, here is a short list in no hierarchal order of effective methods to transform limiting beliefs and release emotional stress. If you have other techniques or practices that have worked for you, please comment below:
- Theta Healing: Developed by Vianna Stibal, Theta Healing uses a meditative process to access the theta brainwave state. Practitioners can identify and change deep-seated beliefs and emotional patterns in this state. It focuses on the four levels of belief—core, genetic, history, and soul—to create holistic healing and transformation.
- Neuro-Emotional Technique (NET): NET combines principles from chiropractic, traditional Chinese medicine, and modern psychology. It addresses the physiological components of stress by identifying emotional stressors and releasing them through specific acupressure points. NET helps to clear the subconscious mind of unresolved emotional patterns.
- Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT): Also known as tapping, EFT involves tapping specific meridian points on the body while focusing on a limiting belief or emotional issue. This technique helps to release emotional blockages and reprogram the subconscious mind with positive affirmations.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): CBT is a well-established psychological approach that helps individuals identify and challenge negative thought patterns and beliefs. By replacing these patterns with positive and realistic ones, CBT promotes mental and emotional well-being.
- Hypnotherapy: Hypnotherapy uses guided relaxation and focused attention to achieve heightened awareness. In this state, individuals can access their subconscious mind to reprogram limiting beliefs and create positive changes in behavior and thought patterns.
- Mindfulness Meditation: Mindfulness meditation involves focusing on the present moment without judgment. This practice helps to increase self-awareness, reduce stress, and promote a positive mindset. Regular mindfulness practice can help individuals recognize and transform limiting beliefs.
- Energy Healing: Techniques such as Reiki, Crystalline Soul Healing, acupuncture, Bio-Field Tuning, and Qigong work with the body’s energy system to release blockages and promote healing. These practices help to balance the body’s energy, facilitating the release of negative beliefs and emotions.
- Holistic Counseling: Holistic counseling integrates various therapeutic approaches to address the mind, body, and spirit. It focuses on uncovering and transforming limiting beliefs while promoting overall well-being.
You Are What You Believe
The anatomy of belief teaches us that we are not just physical beings but also mental and spiritual entities influenced by our beliefs. To create a fulfilling and abundant life, we must transform our limiting beliefs and align ourselves with higher frequencies. By doing so, we unlock our potential, access the collective wisdom of the morphogenetic field, and contribute our unique gifts to the world. Remember, you are not just what you think but what you believe.
Believe in your infinite potential.
Your only limitations are those you set upon yourself. /Roy T. Bennett/
