Every so often, I feel called to step back from teaching or storytelling and share what I think of as a Soul Philosophy Essay — a deeper reflection on why we are here and what our souls long for. These writings are intended to serve as timeless anchors, reminders of the greater truth that guides us all.
Why We Choose Earth and What Our Souls Long For
During a recent Soul Light Portrait Experience, a client asked me why I am so passionate about the soul. I paused, went inward, and received this reflection:
We are spirits first. Only a small portion of our vast consciousness expresses itself in the human body. The greater part of us always remains in the realm of souls — a place of unlimited possibility. We deliberately choose to come to Earth, knowing we will forget who we are, so that we can experience something new.
Earth offers contrast. Unlike the soul realm, where thought manifests instantly and limits do not exist, life here is slower, denser, and filled with polarity. Obstacles become teachers. Duality sharpens our awareness. Each challenge is an invitation to grow, expand, and evolve.
Our souls crave this growth. They long to expand consciousness, to explore realities, dimensions, planets, and star systems. And in this time of collective awakening, we are being called to remember our true nature as part of All That Is.
Spiritual growth is not optional — it’s the very reason we are here. By aligning with our soul’s vibration, releasing limiting beliefs, and trusting our intuition, we unlock the higher pathways of evolution.
The voice of the soul is always available. It speaks in love, never in fear. When we learn to listen through practices like meditation, contemplation, or soul writing, we reconnect with our own divine essence.
The message is simple:
You are more than this life. You are an infinite soul, here to grow, create, and remember your light.
We are magic. We have only forgotten that we are magic.
